Alexander first encountered the challenges of purchasing his own residence in Spain, describing the experience as navigating through “a maze”. He observed a notable absence of clarity and few resources to aid buyers in making educated choices. His response to this challenge was straightforward: develop a comprehensive database offering precise, comparative pricing details for properties within the same region, including specific neighborhoods. This led to the inception of PropertySpain.

Operational Mechanism This platform gathers data from a vast network of licensed real estate agents across Spain. These agents contribute property details following each transaction. In exchange for a nominal inclusion fee, their listings are added to the database. Prior to publication, each piece of information undergoes thorough verification to guarantee its accuracy, empowering users to make well-informed decisions.

As a former marine and technical engineer, Alexander Mendoza spent numerous years working abroad, which naturally led to the next phase of his life unfolding beyond his home country of Denmark.
Alexander’s frequent vacations in Southern Spain deepened his affection for the country, mesmerized by its vibrant lifestyle, sunny climate, and the warm-hearted locals. However, his initial venture into purchasing property in Spain encountered a hurdle. His first property choice, a significantly overpriced apartment, was rejected for a loan by the bank. It was only when a similar apartment, more reasonably priced, appeared on the market in the same neighborhood that he realized his fortunate avoidance of a bad deal. This experience sparked the concept for PropertySpain.
Since 2020, Alexander has been dedicated to the Spanish real estate market, culminating in the launch of the PropertySpain database in 2023. As for the overpriced property? Remarkably, it remains on the market to this day.
